25. Lifeboat
thinking too much
about how I don’t
know much, but there
is still meaning
in every story,
both the shared
& the hidden
we are each a
thread in the
tapestry, even
though we all
may be unraveling,
we’re still traveling
the rivers & roads
that lead
to somewhere
in hope, despair,
in love, in tragedy
we always seem
to somehow
make it there
until we cease,
until the blessed,
final release
