Wasting

Wasting

Sea-casted to the ends of time
Accused of paradoxical crimes
Behind walls of so many wasted minutes
Hiding the essence of leftover innocence

the love medicine is too strong

Purity saved the dignity of spurned hours
Painted a girl golden and adorned her with flowers
Martyr of merit dying with no ounce of shame
Resurrected fully in our heads at the utterance
Of her sacred name

after so long
