There’s a Lot of News But Only One Headline You Should Notice (And if you don’t know what that is, honey, I won’t tell you)

by Fall Out Boy? (lol)

Hello again from Diss! I got a small taste of British holiday celebrations the other day with distant firework pops sounding on Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes Day) both the day of (5th November) & some last night since it was Friday. Halloween was also a blast for me & Tarquin. We dressed up & wandered into town for pizza & a pint & were even given a sweet for being in fancy dress. (I told you before that’s costume here, I think. Took me awhile to understand. I thought it meant we’re supposed to wear ball gowns & coattails, but alas! I’m learning the lingo & sometimes my American folk call me out on using ‘British-isms’ but, hey, when in Rome & that.) The main photo is our Halloween kit. I think we look pretty good!

Fun is the vibe lately. We’re having so much of it. Sometimes we just sit & laugh together. About what, God knows? But it’s amazing. There’s healing in laughter. There’s healing in our simply being together. We’re making requests & dedications to each other through the local radio station, winning radio prizes (I’m pretty lucky with that), wandering hand in hand all over this place, & encountering paranormality everywhere! Time to normalize all that really. Miracles exist & all I can tell you is that I know what I’ve encountered, seen, felt, & heard here & it’s AMAZING. 4th of November was quite the experience. Visions of lights in the sky & then proof of it that evening? Yes, please. More of that. Being aligned with the love of your many lifetimes opens doors to places you always knew existed, but to actually walk across those veils & thresholds & experience? Well, that’s beyond my wildest dreams. I’m so happy.

After the few contacts we made by ‘spirit-boxing’ (that thing paranormal investigators do with AM radio…look it up…yes, I’m creepy & often do things like this) I felt a touch on my shoulder that wasn’t Tarquin. That’s not weird or scary to me. I knew we were about to witness something. I felt it in the air. & did we ever! All I’m going to say is if there are reports of ‘mysterious lights in the sky that respond accordingly to the colors you ask them to flash’ & someone tries to say it’s lightning or swamp gas, don’t believe it. I’m considering wearing my tin foil hat again as a fashion statement & when asked about it say “If you don’t know already, I’m not going to tell you” & skip away just as a way of amusing myself. I like how Tarquin asks people if they’ve had supernatural experiences. I like their responses to us. I like that we’re not afraid of who we are & especially not afraid to just be that. To be WHO WE ARE. How freeing, really. Love is All There Is.

After the show in the sky, I was sitting on the path resting & Tarquin was squatting in front of me. We sat quietly for a minute after I kept tripping out over how cool what we just saw was. How magical. How we make so much sense together. How I feel incredibly blessed to experience all of the ‘supernatural’ things that I do. I felt blissful, really. At peace.

“Will you marry me?” Tarquin whispered in the dark.

I leaned forward & whispered back. “Yes.”

Of course I did! So yes, as if you all already didn’t know it would happen, I’m going to be Tarquin’s wife & he’s going to be my husband & we are both so ecstatic about it. There’s visa stuff to work out so no idea what our wedding day will look like as of yet or which continent it’ll even be on. Lots of logistics, unfortunately, but that’s the way of things. We’re both prepared for the next steps & we’re patient. All will be okay & it always is okay no matter what. & we’re together. Like ‘totally together’. 😀 We’re going to choose rings together which I was nervous about at first, but now I think that’s really cool. Tarquin gives me choices & I don’t think I’ve been used to that much. I’m enjoying that. Yes, I am.

I said ‘yes!’ (I mean, of course I did, LOOK AT HIM!)

Today is a grey Saturday & I like it. It feels like November. The trees I see outside the window grow more yellow & orange every day. Not many birds have come to the window to feed on the nuts yet, but lunch time is bound to come for them soon & that’s my favorite part of every day, watching these birds out the window. The magpies. Oh, the magpies. Two of them follow Tarquin & I around Diss & I know they protect us. We try to give them things & pray the pigeons don’t nick them. Once a whole loaf of bread got chucked out the window & a magpie did pick it up & take it over the fence. We were blessed to see that. Tarquin saw four magpies together which he tells me is rare. They’re drawn to us. The jackdaws too. The tits stop on the windowsill & sing to me sometimes too.

We cook amazing food together. I can cook more & peacefully with the absence of beeping appliances. We help each other. People who see us around know we’re in love. (Maybe it’s all the stopping for kissing breaks, I dunno!) We’re adorable! & that’s another thing. I’ve been dimming myself for a long time in my life. Putting myself in a sort of lowly position. “I’m not all that great.” “Oh, I’m just alright…” No more of that. I’m a precious, sacred, amazing divine being. I’m super cool. I love who I am & I’m not going to be afraid to assert that anymore. Tarquin thinks I’m the greatest too, so yay! 😀

In other important news, Fall Out Boy is doing some cool & interactive fan things lately. A new song is going to drop on Monday & I know FOB 9 plus a tour is coming! I’m so excited for new music from them & I have a feeling this album will synch up with my life again because that’s just how Fall Out Boy’s music does me.

All good things. It’s getting colder every day. I’ve got some winter boots in the Amazon basket & thinking about different soups & stews to make this next season. I’ve found an open mic that’s local & I was going to go read some poems but they unexpectedly cancelled the last one. Maybe next month! There will be all kinds of Christmas-y things to wander through. Remembrance Day is coming & there’s a parade happening for it. Life is beautiful.

I hope you all enjoyed your Spooky Season & are finding things to be full of gratitude for. Whatever the rest of Autumn brings you, may you love & grow through it. Soon the leaves will fall & all will be bare again. A fresh start. A clean slate. Who are you going to be now? What’s waiting to bloom for you?

I’m going to be doing a whole lot of being, loving, & experiencing. I’m having the absolute time of my life.

Tarquin told me he’d marry me in this. Hmm…maybe? Kinda emo…

See ya next time! Remember, The Truth Is Out There. (Sometimes way out there…) And Deep Within YOU!
