When too many bad days in a row occur, I start to wonder if this is just how it’s going to be from now on.

I’ve tiptoed out of the world.

Last night I spoonfed a dying man oatmeal. I sponge bathed him even though he was already clean.

We’ve been running on fumes the past couple of days.

This winter has been a deep freeze.
