Shock

What of madness and
feminine energy?

My poor husband is in the hospital…

they’re only going
to keep turning it up

They say the sky
is thinner from that high

my blood can’t handle
any more apologies, insistence
on the right to celebrate
genocide…

At first sight,
a pale baby bird

I think of loneliness
& laser beam precision

in their eyes we are worth
what we can do for them

on hiatus

the tide that took
you away had a
street name
